Spectator Information
Admissions & Spectator Entrance: The Admissions/Spectator Entrance onto The Vancouver Golf Club during championship week is located off Austin Avenue. Paid parking for the championship is located at Simon Fraser University (SFU). Complimentary shuttles are available from the SFU spectator parking and Lougheed Translink Station to and from the admissions gate. Admissions gates are open from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday, August 20th to Sunday, August, 26th.
Autographs: In order to provide a more orderly environment for fans seeking autographs and at the same time helping players avoid distractions while competing in the CN Canadian Women’s Open, autographs are not permitted once a player begins a competitive round Thursday through Sunday. Players may elect to sign autographs prior to or at the completion of their round.
Bicycles: Racks for bicycles will be provided at the Admissions area.
Camera Policy: Cameras are only allowed on-site during the pre-tournament days, Monday through Wednesday, for personal use only. Cameras are prohibited during the championship rounds, Thursday through Sunday. Video devices are prohibited all week.
Comfort: For your comfort, we suggest you wear rubber-soled shoes, a hat or visor, sunglasses, lightweight and light coloured clothing and sunscreen.
Inclement Weather: Observe the leaderboards throughout the golf course for “Weather Warning” notices that will appear prior to inclement weather moving into the area. When this notice appears, spectators are advised to take precautions prior to play being suspended. If the siren/horn sounds, please proceed back to your vehicle. In the event of inclement weather, avoid the following: open areas, hilltops/high places, isolated trees, golf carts, wire fencing and skyboxes/bleachers.
Junior Policy: Children aged 17 and under are permitted free access to the grounds when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Juniors do not have access to Clubhouse Lounge, Clubhouse Tables, Skyboxes or Marquee Suite hospitality areas unless they have appropriate badges for these areas.
Merchandise & Souvenirs: Championship merchandise can be found in The Vancouver Golf Club Pro Shop next to the 1st tee and in the merchandise tent located in the CN Spectator Village.
Mobile Devices: Mobile devices are welcome at the CN Canadian Women’s Open. Remember to put your device on silent mode prior to entering the tournament. Spectators wishing to make phone calls may do so only in specific phone zones. Your mobile device may not be used to video the players at any time and may not be used as a camera Thursday through Sunday. Violators will be subject to having their mobile device confiscated by security and will be retuned only when leaving the grounds at the Check Stand located at Admissions.
LPGA Mobile App: Accessible via any mobile device (type in lpga.com, it will re-direct to the mobile site or visit m.lpga.com), it features live scoring, favourite players, scoreboards, player profiles, Twitter feed, YouTube link, news and schedules.
Pairing Sheets and Souvenir Programs: Complimentary pairing sheets and souvenir programs are available at Admissions and at the Information Centre. Pairing sheets provide tee times, a map of the course as well as a summary of the previous day’s action.
Prohibited Items: Please take note of the following items that are prohibited from entering the championship grounds:
• Cameras (allowed Monday through Wednesday)
• Video cameras
• Televisions and radios
• Noise making devices
• Food and beverage (bottled water allowed)
• Containers and coolers
• Pets (other than service animals)
• Lawn and folding armchairs
• Bicycles
• Ladders
• Signs and banners
• Metal spiked golf shoes
• Bags (12”h x 12”w x 12”d or smaller allowed)
Any of the above will be confiscated by security and stored at the Check Stand.
All items are subject to inspection at Admissions.
Special Assistance: Facilities for people with disabilities are provided. Reserved viewing areas on the 18th green are available for those using wheelchairs or other means of assistance. Wheelchair accessible restroom facilities are provided.
Spectator Courtesies: The following are guidelines to follow for the enjoyment of all spectators:
• Look for and obey marshals at all time
• Walk at all times – never run
• Cross fairways only at designated crosswalks and stay behind the ropes atall other times
• Be quiet and still as golfers play their shots
• Do not leave green areas until all players in a group have putted out
• Do not approach or talk to players on the golf course
• Place all garbage, recycling and organics in the receptacles provided
• Be as considerate of others and kneel or sit if you are in the front row of the gallery
• Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration
• Please respect the Mobile Device Policy

Think Green: The CN Canadian Women’s Open recycles! We encourage you to use our recycle containers, which are positioned throughout the golf course. While walking the course, you’ll notice three types of containers for disposal of your recyclables. Blue bags are for recyclables and should be used for plastic bottles, glass and cans. Green totes are used for organics. White boxes are for all other waste.
