Corporate Hospitality Opportunities

In the summer of 2010, the LPGA Tour returns to Winnipeg and one of its favorite homes, St. Charles Country Club, for the 2010 CN Canadian Women’s Open.

In 1992, the St. Charles Country Club played host to Canada’s National Women’s Open, and will do so again from August 23-29, 2010. The CN Canadian Women’s Open has gone through a complete revitalization since 1992, and with tremendous support from its title sponsor CN , the championship is among the richest events on Tour and has become a true “must play” for the world’s best golfers. In 2009, the CN Canadian Women’s Open attracted 50 of the top 50 players from the LPGA’s order of merit, and we expect this trend of support to continue for 2010.

The CN Canadian Women’s Open has always had a strong local attachment, with its dedication to raising money for local children’s charities. Each year, CN selects a local children’s charity and sets a goal of surpassing the previous year’s donation in the name of the championship. In 2009 $1.6 million was raised for the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation through CN Miracle Match, a program targeted at driving the event’s philanthropic mandate. CN Miracle Match provides charitable fundraising opportunities that encourage public donations in support of the host children’s hospital both leading up to as well as onsite during tournament week with all donations made to be matched by CN.

How can you make a difference?

CN and the RCGA recognize that our corporate partners will help to bring this inspired vision for philanthropic excellence to life. With a portion of net proceeds from each corporate purchase directed back to the charity, it has never been more rewarding to support Canada’s National Women’s Open Championship. Canada’s business leaders have joined in this commitment and are eager to work collectively with you and the 2010 CN Canadian Women’s Open to achieve our shared vision in support of children’s charities.
